Parental Guidance is a funny family comedy with Billy Crystal and Bette Midler leading the cast, playing Artie Decker and his wife Diane. Artie, a grumpy old man used to being the one who calls the shots at home, will meet his match when he and his wife have to take care of their grandchildren for a weekend at the beginning of Parental Guidance.
The parents (Marisa Tomei and Tom Everett Scott) are not as adamant about their children's education as Artie would like, but he'll soon realize that his "methods" - strict rules, old-fashioned games and lots of love - don't give the result he expects in 21st Century adolescents.
